A partnership with Exceed Geo Energy harnessing abundant local hot rock for food processing, cold storage, and electricity generation, enhancing community energy resiliency. Planning for energy storage capacity and exploration of electricity export opportunities.

A strategic framework for enhancing the functionality and economic viability of the Presidio-Ojinaga Port of Entry. Analysis of trade and travel demand in development of revenue models incorporating operational costs and maintenance expenses.

Reduce unemployment rate to state average
Attract at least three new major employers in target industries

Develop sustainable, technology-enabled infrastructure to support growth and enhance

Coordinate intermodal transportation planning considering local impacts
Complete water system upgrade and implement smart water management
Enhance walkability of downtown area

Foster a skilled, adaptive workforce aligned with emerging economic opportunities.

Establish new workforce training programs aligned with target industries
Develop a work visa facilitation program to increase cross-border labor availability
Launch a binational internship program for students
